About Me

Describe Yourself:

I'm a fun kinda girl ... who had to retired from teaching after 10 years in the Community College System. I opened a restaurant that too was fun, but wayyyyyyyyyy too much work ... sold that and I have moved on to my new love = writing.

I was fortunate enough to have made money selling my restaurant and was able to spend two weeks in Italy. It was an amazing soul-searching pilgrimage that I embarked on ALL BY MYSELF. There is something to be said for women travelling alone. It was an amazing journey - I don't think I'll ever view the world the same again.

I've recently learned to read tarot cards - research for one of my novels. I've finished my first manuscript and am busy working on my second and third simultaneously.
On Gather, I'm Looking For ...:

fun connections, writing groups, friends to help me improve my writing, new things to learn, and I want to share my goal for the new year - to be published in 2008 :)
